ATC Standard Phaseology - Contoh text conversation between ATC and Pilot

Assalamualaikum dan Salam 1Malaysia...

1st of all, me nak ucap terima kasih dan nak mintak maaf byk2 pada adik2 yg sudi baca article dlm blog nie. Maaf dipinta kerana bukan me xnak balas on the spot tp keadaan me lately yg xbape mengizinkan. Pregnancy kali nie betul2 menduga me. Pertengahan bulan Jan ari tu me admitted to KPJ Kajang sbb stone in kidney and need emergency operation to remove the stone since one of it dah block saluran kidney dan membengkak. Since me tgh pregnant so risiko mmg tinggi. Alhamdulillah after the operation condition baby ok and me dapat mc 10 hari. Mmg heaven la duduk rmh kan tp xleh buat apa2 pn sbb i need to rest and xleh buat kerja berat. Even our daughter pn kami hantar pengasuh. After 6 days of operation dtg balik susulan utk remove "the stand" yang dipasang pada saluran kencing ke kidney. After that baru la me rasa segar sikit. Lps abis mc sedang elok me kene attend training utk KLIA 2 plk. Pastu sambung cuti tahun baru cina kt kampung me kt Johor tp byk plan nak berjalan raya cina tu terpaksa postpone sbb my mum pulak admitted kt hospital sbb jangkitan paru2.... There goes our cuti dengan bergilir2 jaga mak kt hospital. On our last day cuti raya cina tu baru my mum dapat discharge dr hospital. Naik dari cuti raya cina tu baru la my shift dpt tgk muka me masuk keje. Ermmmm, Dekat 3 week jgk tak wat traffic. Skrg nie tgh batuk dan selsema plk berjangkit dari my daughter. Elok dpt mc lagi. Tapi alhamdulillah monthly check up baby still in good condition. Ermmmm....... Ok lah enough about me. Maaf kalo korang bosan nk baca me membebel psl me.

Ok we back to the real deal. Since ada yang bertanya contoh ATC and Pilot conversation, me nak kongsi contoh text conversation antara ATC dan pilot menggunakan what we called a Standard Phaseology. Conversation between ATC dan pilot sememangnyer bukan sembang kedai kopi ok. We have our standard phraseology yg digunakan di mana-mana around the world. So if u have ATC licence, u can apply ATC job around the world (hehehe, but frankly speaking mmg susah nak apply la kan).

Contoh phaseology yang me kongsi nie me pernah guna masa me nak PAC dulu. Tanya Mr Google jgk la. Nie conversation ATC Tower and pilot during the incident which kapal Air France 358 slide off end of the runway. Me tak ingat tahun berapa incident nie berlaku.

                               ---------------------------------------------------

Air Traffic Control: "Air France 358 maintain 4,000"

Air France Flight 358: "maintain 4,000, 358"

ATC: "Air France 358 (inaudible) approach on 24 left"

Air France Flight 358: "(inaudible) 24 left, 358"

ATC: "Air France 358 reduce speed now to 160 knots"

Air France Flight 358: "reducing 160, 358"

ATC: "Air France 358 slow to your final approach speed"

Air France Flight 358: reduce minimum (inaudible) "

ATC: "Correct, minumum speed Air France 358"

Air France Flight 358: "I do"

ATC: "Air France 358 contact Toronto tower, fix at frequency 118.35 "

Air France Flight 358: "118.35"

The controller then speaks to another incoming aircraft as follows:

ATC: "Air Canada 1105 we had an aircraft slide off the end of the runway. You will not be landing on runway 24 left. Your approach plans is canceled. Maintain 4,000 feet. "

Air Canada 1105: "maintain to 4,000 Air Canada 1105 and requesting London"

ATC: "Air Canada 1105 Roger. Steer heading 220 degrees now and continue climbing to 6,000"

And to the next flight:

ATC: "Air Canada 1156 I would suggest you probably want to go to your alternate now, I think the airport's going to closed for quite a while. "

                                   ------------------------------------------------------

You all can practice this phraseology. Nie CONTOH jer yer. Kalo ikut conversation nie tak bape lengkap sebab read back from the pilot tak penuh. Tapi as an ATC uolls boleh baca penuh la. Masa stage2, terutamanyer masa role play, phraseology yang macam nie akan digunakan tapi situasi mungkin berbeza la. Samada conversation ATC-Pilot untuk kapal nak landing ke, kapal nak departure ke and can be any other situation. Cuba practice cakap out loud yer. Jangan practise dalam hati. Memang takkan menjadi nyer. Me tau mesti ada perkataan yang uoll tak bape nak faham sebab biasanyer tu sebutan untuk callsign kapal, reporting point, STAR or SID untuk sesebuah station tp cuba pastikan baca setiap butir tu termasuk huruf dan number tu satu-satu.

Contohnyer

Air France 358 reduce speed now to 160 knots
reads as Air France three five eight reduce speed now to one six zero knots

Air France 358 contact Toronto tower, fix at frequency 118.35
reads as Air France three five eight contact Toronto tower, fix at frequency one one eight decimal three five

http://atcwiki.jonckers.org/index.php?n=Main.HomePage

Website nie me rasa paling banyak boleh membantu.

ATC

DAT77F, START UP APPROVED, CLEARED TO LEMD VIA CIV7L DEPARTURE, CLIMB TO FL 60 , SQUAWK 7132

Reads as

ATC : DAT77F, start up approved, cleared to LEMD via CIV7L departure, climb to flight level six zero, squawk seven one three two

Contoh lain;

Pilot

DAT77F, REQUEST DEPARTURE INFORMATION

ATC

DAT77F, RUNWAY 20 WIND 200 degrees 8 knots QNH 1023 TEMPERATURE MINUS 3 VISIBILITY 5km EXPECT CIV7L DEPARTURE

Read as

ATC : DAT77F, runway two zero, wind two hundreds degrees eight knots, QNH one zero two three, temperature minus three, visibility five kilometers expect CIV7L departure.

Contoh lain :

ATC
TAY035, WIND 290 DEGREES 8 KNOTS, RUNWAY 25R CLEARED TO LAND
Reads as

ATC : TAY zero three five, surface wind two niner zero degrees, eight knots, runway two five right, cleared to land

*** Cuma ambik perhatian kepada bbrp perkataan seperti WIND jangan baca as WINE yer.... lain maksud dan bunyi nyer  (nie selalu me nak tekankan)

Link nie takde banyak phraseology tapi more pada aviation related.

*** Selain tu kalo uolls rajin nak google leh tgk kt you tube ATC and Pilot conversation siap dengan script. Maybe uolls can learn and listen on how they pronounce some words.

*** Kalo google ATC conversation tu tak perlu rasanyer baca yang funny2 punyer. Kalo nak baca sekadar hiburan boleh la tapi uolls can't learn anything from there. Baik listen and learn from the right page.
